At Can’t We Just Get Along Counselling, our individual therapy is commonly broken down into three/four phases:
Assessment Phase (1-3 sessions): In the Assessment Phase, the clients get to know the therapist, explain their challenges, and set a therapy goal.
Working Phase (8-24 sessions): The Working Phase is when the work begins through therapy interventions, learning new tools, and having therapeutic conversations that can help you to reach your therapy goal.
Closure Phase 1-3 (sessions): Once you have reached your goal, you review what has changed and test the stability of change.
Maintenance Phase: Monthly, quarterly, or yearly check-ins (as needed.) Clients come back for "booster" sessions if a relapse occurs or for proactive check-ins.
Our fees are based on the Recommended Fee Schedule provided by The Psychologists Association Of Alberta. Our therapists will discuss our session fees upon intake, and help you determine what therapist expertise will meet your needs.
